The Steps

She had decided to work just for that Saturday morning. Little did she know that he would be breaking in and still there. He heard the door being unlocked and hid himself away. He waited quietly, wondering who was coming upstairs. Imagine his surprise and delight in seeing her here. He quickly overpowered her and cuffed her hands together.

"You are coming with me", he told her as he attached a chain to her cuffs. Even as she resisted, he pulled her down the long corridor. " I need to put you somewhere out of the way. I will get what I came for and be on my way" She followed him grimly, pulling against the chain as she went

He dragged her downstairs to the centre landing and cuffed her hands around one of the bannisters. She tried to shout out for help but he quickly gagged her.

"Be prepared, I used to be a boyscout. Lucky I brought this with me. The chain is a bonus though. Should keep you held while I look for it." He wrapped the chain around her ankles and arms.

"I guess i am also lucky, as I would never have expected to meet such an attractive lady as yourself here on a Saturday. You just stay there and you will be just fine, just a little inconvenienced"

She knew she couldn't escape. The gag held her jaws open and they began to ache. She fely very uncomfortable. Apprehension grew in her as she sat there, bound. What if he decided not to keep his promise?

As he came back from the offices, he looked at her and smiled. "Well, Babe, you know I got what I was looking for. Why are you hiding away from me ? You needn't worry, you can stop hiding. Peekaboo? Yes, I can still see you !" He walked past her.

"I am going to go now. I am sorry that i am having to leave you like this, but I can't let you free. I am sure someone will come and find you. I am leaving the key here, Ok ?" he said as he put the key at the foot of the stairs. She got up to try futilely to get near it.

"You just sit down and stay calm. You are not listening. Sit down NOW!" As her shouted at her, she suddenly felt very scared. She curled herself institively into a ball. He instantly regretted shouting at her and tried to calm her down.

"You'll be fine here. You just stay calm and you'll be fine" He looked at her apologetically. "I hate to leave you like this, but I have to go. Thanks for being so coopoerative, and Iam really sorry.

With that he left her. Alone and wondering when someone would miss her and come to get her out. The key looked a million miles away.
